Innocent is a scientist with more than ten years of technical expertise in climate change issues, Environment sciences and sustainable agri-food-feed systems. He holds a Master of Agricultural Production Chain Management from Van Hall Larenstein, Part of Wageningen University, The Netherlands (2011), specialized in livestock and crops chains; a Post Graduate Diploma in GIS and Remote Sensing majoring Natural resource management from ITC- University of Twente, The Netherlands (2020), and a Bachelor degree in Agriculture from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) Morogoro, Tanzania (2006).

Innocent has extensive knowledge in research, surveys, and facilitation skills in climate change related issues. He has worked in climate change impact development interventions for different agro forestry value chains in different capacities at SECCA and ICRAF; Programme Advisor for East Africa Dairy Development (EADD II) project, Responsible for coordinating the livestock feed component amongst the five consortium partners’ organizations that include: Heifer International (lead), TechnoServe (TNS), the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) and the African Breeders.

Innocent is strong calibre person with strong experience in value chain development and associated analytics, holds diverse experience in climate change systems facilitation and Private sector development. Innocent also attended various short term trainings in China, Australia and Kenya. He has extended network and reasonable exposure for knowledge sharing from other parts of the world. In Tanzania He has been quite attached to the rural sector in his whole career period, from central zone in Dodoma & Singida, Manyara and the Southern highlands of Mbeya, Iringa and Njombe.
